Since this seems to become a video week, check out the documentary about Tom Ford, his (clever) thoughts about the constance change in the meaning of the word beauty "Everthing is too much today",  "Today we're in the pumped up period. Where does that come from culturally, where are we going next?".  And even wiser: "We do not own anything in our life. We do not own anything in the world. I think of it as a bunch of stuff, i'm kind of swimming through. I do struggle.  I'm atrackted to beautiful things. But I am aware of the lack of value and the fact that the most important thing in life is the connection with other people. So it's a bit of a struggle".

have you heard of the documentary press pause play by the swedish creative agency house of random? it's about the influence of the new media on art, photography, music and film, the magic of creativity, the democratisation of culture and the question, whether this has led to better art. i watched it last night and can really recommend it - so watch it!
